Locking lever issue
Yesterday I found that the button at the end of the locking lever on my starboard wing had unscrewed itself from the spring loaded rod it depresses to move into the locked or unlocked position. I didn't know it was threaded. Luckily I found it after it sprung off before flight. The wing was locked in position and there would have been no safety problem, but after the flight it would have been tough to move the lever before folding the wing. I found the port wing button is also threaded on; it had not unscrewed. The parts manual doesn't make clear how the button should be locked onto the rod it moves. My inclination is to simply use red Locktite.
Any comments?
